“Fantastic find”
Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

Our group of three had a great dinner here, we all loved the food, the good range of Mexican beers and the great range of Tequila, all at good pricing. The prawn quesadillas were my pick, the service was friendly, we will definitely be back.

“Loved It”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

We love Mexican food so turned up on a Tuesday night with no booking but that was no problem. We were seated & served a bowl of corn chips & salsa to nibble on while we decided what to order. Hubby had Nachos which he loved. Hot sauce is on the table to be used which he did & ended up buying a bottle of it. I had beef fajitas which were delicious. Great flavours & a big feed. Our kids (9 & 11) ordered cheese quesadilla's off the kids menu but we weren't sure if that would be enough so, as it was Taco Tuesday, we ordered them a beef brisket taco each. They ate the lot & raved about how good it was. Service was great & friendly, prices were good, good atmosphere & a great feed.

“Would have been nice to eat there”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

They were busy when we walked in so asked if we could book a table for later. They said if they got our number they would ring when a table came free. Gave them our number but We gave up after an hour and a half of no phone call. Still waiting for the call.......

“Consistently good”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

We were pleased to return to this excellent little place in Rotorua, a year since my last visit. The food was great, the service efficient and the staff very friendly. It's always pleasing to find a place that keeps up its standards. This time we had the pork tacos and special burrito. Both were wonderful, and we really appreciatedthe complimentary corn chips and salsa that came with our drinks. Keep up the good work.

“Good Fahitas”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

Travelling alone I decided to try my favourite style of food - Mexican.

Starting off I had the cheese and chorizo melt which was enjoyable, but seemed to lack a crucial and much missed ingredient - the chorizo!!! Instead it seemed like minced beef and cheese which was still pleasant but lacked that extra little spice!

Feeling a little disappointed I was hoping for great things with my Chicken Fahita, and indeed they were, arriving on a sizzling skillet with beautiful cajun aromas, accompanied by fresh sour cream, salsa and gucamole this could not have been a tastier dish. Highly recommended

All in all I'd definitely recommend the restaurant, but just check they've got chorizo!!
