Owner description: The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience since Andrew and David Akers developed the first operation in the world in Rotorua back in 1997. Rotorua remains the ONLY location in New Zealand where you can experience this amazingly fun and bizarre activity. With a new site just 5 minutes from the town centre with a hill that is almost twice as long, you can ride with 1, 2 or 3 people inside the same H2OGO (with warm water in winter or cool water in summer),race against your friends, or try the Harness OGO where you are securely strapped in and sent rolling head over heels through the trees down our custom designed harness track.OR … try our BRAND NEW ride; THE FISHPIPE!A new and unique type of water ride where you slide for over 600 metres! Further than the longest water-slide in the world!Up to 3 riders, 75 litres (20 gallons) of water and a barrel that spins at up to 45 revolutions per minute (although we can slow it right down for the kids and those of you with nervous dispositions.)If you’re riding solo, you can slide, try to run inside, or even try surfing on your feet. With 2 or 3 riders inside you slip and slide together in a tangled mess ... backwards, sideways, frontwards, upside-downwards and whose-foot-is-that-in-my-mouthwards.Open 364 days from 9:00 to 5:00pm in all weather conditions, do not miss out on this unique New Zealand invention. No bookings necessary.

“Must do activity!”

This place was great! Truly one of the more memorable and talked about experiences from my holiday to NZ. The staff here were really friendly and laid back with great customer service. The price is fair when you compare to similar activities and was definitely worth the money. They offer single and group zorb experiences and the photo and video they take is excellent quality and unlike many places is actually worth buying.

“Rolling down the hill”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

Firstly the ball is filled with warm water and then you do a Superman and jump, or rather dive, into the ball. Then you, and possibly your partner(s), start rolling down the hill. At first you might do a feeble attempt of standing up straight and running, but I can assure you that will last mere seconds. After that it's all about tumbling down the hill, often accompanied by an absurd amount of laughter. You can't help it. Is the thrill of rolling down a hill? Is it the dizzy sensation you get? Or is it that you just realised you've paid to roll down a hill in a piece of plastic? The latter being definitely worth it.

Anyhoodle, by the time you reach the bottom of one of the track, you will be soaked, dizzy from tumbling over more than a lad on a stag due and tired from all the laughing. After you squeeze yourself out and have a quick snapshot, it's straight into the hot tub to wait your next laughter-filled turn.

If you're in Rotorua and want to try something new, cool and absolutely bonkers, then I suggest you do an OGO.

This was great fun in Rotorua! The Staff are fantastic and pictures and videos of your rides are very reasonably priced.

We liked this so much we went back the next day, just to start another day off with a splash!

You don't have this where I come from. I did not know what zorbing was but if you want to do something you've never done before and wanna have some fun this is the place to go. Get inside a ball and roll down the hill! Feel like a little hamster in is ball. Good pictures good crew and a lot of fun! Thanks OGO

“The most fun you can have in a ball!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

We came here as a group recently and had an awesome morning at OGO. We did both the straight track and the sidewinder. Even the most scared of our group gave it a go and everyone had an blast! The spa in between rides is a nice way to keep warm and relax. The sidewinder track is awesome and heartstopping at the same time. The crew were really nice and friendly. Hint the toilet is located in the white cubicle at the driveway entrance.
Would recommend as this is a lot if fun!
