don't know what to say here....been in places exactly like this from Manhattan to Prague to London to Reykjavik to Rotorua. Nothing distinguished about this except for the absolutely delightful woman who took care of us. Then apparently the owner came in who was a bit more morose and things quieted down a bit. Food was very good. I got something called Kutshrute, I think, with chicken. I'd personally opt away from the sauces because the "secret" sauce on it (Berber sauce?) was more than good enough. My wife got a kebab. Again, very good. Would I go back. yes. But this is a takeaway. a good takeaway. Everything was fresh and the place was reasonably clean.

I thoroughly enjoy my meals here every time I visit. The staff are always lovely, particularly the maori woman on the front counter! The cook is more than happy to cater for people (such as myself) who are sensitive to spice. Every dish has its own signature exotic flavour, the prices are absolutely superb.

Best Pizzazz in town. Must visit and try the Arabian pizza. It's located in town centre and lots of 60 minute parking available around it. Done in or takeaway. Open all week. Alternatively Sunday is off.

We read the review and walked past in the late afternoon to decide where to go for dinner. Had a bit of reservation about the look of it from the outside but we decided to trust the reviews - we didn't regret it! It was FABULOUS!!! We squished ourselves on the back table (family of 5) and they were very busy already! Their young son came and served us and we asked his recommendations on the dishes - he was very knowledgeable and told us the Arabian pizza was very popular. We had the Amazign...Berber...Kebab...Arabian Pizza and garlic bread....it went down a treat! The rice dishes were packed full of flavour and the servings were very, very generous. We will definitely be back again when we come back to Rotorua! Top marks to this hardworking family! The lady was still very friendly and cheerful despite it being super busy (to the point that any chicken dishes were sold out - we all had lamb but it was no hardship at all!) My husband asked for extra jalapenos and hot sauce to be added to our daughter's half eaten kebab (it was so big that she could only eat half of it) and this was done with cheerfully without any fuss. Thank you so much for a wonderful dinner. We were glad we came here instead of Eat Street where the alcohol and cigarette fumes turned us away as we walked passed.

Get a rice dish: Berber (chicken or mixed) or the Amazigh (lamb or mixed) and you will be back again. If you get a kebab there...you will be back again. Were were traveling all of NZ, and stayed in Rotorua for 5 days, and ate here twice. It is that good, and that cheap....ITS CASH ONLY HOWEVER, SO BRING SOME, BUT DON'T LET THIS DISCOURAGE YOU.
