“Lovely walk....”

A great free activity for all the family. We only did the short walks as these are the only ones suitable for a pushchair but we were told some of the longer walks take in views over thermal areas. Was very nice strolling through these massive trees, our 2 year old loved playing peekabo behind the trees and as there are so many he was spoilt for choice. There is a picnic area but due to all the massively tall trees it is very shady, will need to go elsewhere for a sunny picnic.

me and my friend often go here to relax and take the children for a scenic walk. i have run through these woods too and there are some brilliant tracks you can go on.always maintained very well although some loose logs on the floor could help for runners not to be there but thats a forest so its expected.
very enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere

Graham and I had an amazing walk in the Redwoods. Great lookout views, good exercise and fun. The Redwood trees are huge and looking up to the skies you can glimpse the sun.

Absolutely amazing. Great for a walk, run or mountain bike and if you do your homework you may find the trail that shows all the fabulous glow worms at night. So close to town, but you feel a world away.
