Although resident in the UK we were fortunate enough to be here both in 2013 and now again a year later. Revisiting Sabroso was one of the things we had to do and it did not disappoint in any way. The food is absolutely superb and very reasonably priced. It doesn't seem to matter what you choose from the menu it's all great. The service is also excellent (efficient, friendly and with humour) - the girl with the dreads again who I'm guessing is the daughter of the proprietor(s). It's very small and you should make a reservation. Love it.

We came here on the recommendation of my son, who had been here before. It is a simple little place, like most in this town, and the menu is short and quite simple. However our selections were well cooked and tasty, and the service is friendly and discreet (girl with the dreads, as another reviewer commented). The beer is good, and while I have had better margaritas (I make a mean one myself), it went well with the early part of the meal before the locally brewed pilsner. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, though my wife commented that the chili con carne was very heavy on red peppers and onions - she doesn't like pimentos much and while she normally leaves them on the side and doesn't make exclusion requests, in this case they were chopped small and difficult to leave at the side. That aside, this was a nice little place and we would happily return when in the area.

Small and intimate, lovely decor, great fresh food. The three different homemade chilli sauces are mind blowing! We had croucher beer, locally brewed, for the first time here, very good. Friendly and efficient service from the girl with the dreads! A tiny gripe might be that the tostadas plate could have done with a side of rice to make it a bit more filling. Will come again.

Thanks tesandsai for taking the time to review Sabroso. We're happy that you enjoyed your experience and invite you back when you are next in town. Our menu changes with the seasons, the summery light tostada will be replaced with a more hearty dish come winter.
