Great italian food, great menu, absolutely delicious and lively friendly atmosphere. Very busy, so it you get the chance to book I would recommend you do so. Try the nuvolari pasta dish, as your main course, great flavours and just the right size portion.

Nuvolari has great Pizza's, definitely some of the best around. We visited this restaurant on our last visit to Rotorua and the meals were just as good. Only disappointment was that we asked for an extra ingredient into our meal and we were advised that was not possible as the 'chef did not like changes'. Staff attended to the table several times checking everything was ok, good customer service.

We ordered takeaway, two pasta dishes. Portions were what we had expected for a main (very filling), if you are after a light meal I would suggest ordering the entree. My partner and I had expected authentic tasting Italian pasta dishes; however it tasted just like La Porchetta Restaurant dishes from Auckland. The pasta tastes like the packets you purchase from the supermarket boiled up and with sauce thrown in to mix through. The dishes were eatable but if you were after fine dining and a good authentic pasta meal, this is not the place for you.

Loved the Food! My husbands absolutely loves Italian, we either go Italian or Korean when we’re on holiday, however this time it was Italian. Hubby had the sweet chilli chicken pasta which was hot, pasta tasted fresh, and the sauce was just the right consistency. 10yr old had a kids special which was just the right serving for him as he had a smoothie prior to dinner so was a little full. However under normal circumstances, it probably wouldn’t have been enough so we would probably need to get an entree or mains size. Tapa menu-had the pepper-dews with feta and salami selection and garlic bread. Garlic bread yummy and large portion for $4.90 (i think that was the price). Pepper-dews, OMG I am still dreaming of those little sweet surprises, it was seriously like an explosion of yumminess when you bit into them!! I’m salivating now thinking of them. Just based on those alone I’m going back!! Not impressed at all at the salami selection, only two flavours which I think can be sourced from Pak’n’Save so would probably pass on those next time. Negatives, meal took forever to be brought out-even though there weren’t many people there. Ambience average kind of rustic. Overall, the food compensated for any other negatives which were few.

We were seduced by the music in the street and stopped in anticipation of a good Italian meal. One pasta meal was made with a Chinese stir fry sauce and the Bolognaise sauce awlful. Even a basic bruschetta was disappointing. Meals were slow and not very hot when received. New chef required apply within.
