I have been visiting this place for a few years now when in Rotorua. It always seems pretty busy and draws a wide range of clientele. The second visit this trip was on my own, and with a cosy fire and their newspaper I waited comfortably for my food. Portions are quite large and they were knowledgable about gluten free food. It is not cheap but not unduly expensive.
Interesting snippets written on the walls and backs of chairs to read.
Worth a visit.
