“An excellent experience”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

Our guide gave us a great 50 min talk about the history of the Treaty and the location.
The gardens are lovely, the house very informative but our favourite was the Cultural show. The singers and dancers were brilliant. This is a must if you are visiting the Bay is Islands

“Maori culture at its very best”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

With the sun shining arrived to waitangi treaty grounds not really sure what to expect..we were not only amazed but actually emotionally moved..the young men and women who showed us all the traditional dance and song was fabulous so incredibly warm and friendly. Told us the story of how the maori elders chiefs came together with the british to form a treaty. It was a humbling and touching.the performance was excellent. It has to be the best thing we have seen and visited so far a not to be missed cultural event...everywhere was clearly signed easy to move around, lots of facilities and a cafe..what will stay in my mind is those men and women and how we felt so very welcome...

“Culture review”

Great morning out to inform and entertain. Very friendly staff and a stunning location. All money raised is applied back into the facility, so your visit is also helping to support the funding required to maintain a fantastic facility.
