Really enjoyed our stay in Paihia, much enhanced by the easy , convenient location of the Averill Court. Stayed in a second floor unit with a friend. We found it good value, clean, warm and recently refurbished. No complaints. Would highly recommend it.

We arrived late on a holiday weekend, but Dan had kept the reception open so he could direct us to our room. Thanks to Dan and Sue for running a spotlessly clean and friendly 'home away from home'. Our room was very spacious, the bed was good.Only criticism was the noise on that weekend which was annoying until late at night, not the hotel's fault. thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Three of us stayed here for two nights in a second floor studio and have nothing but praise for the place. It is reasonably priced and very well appointed. The member of our party who slept in the lounge had comfortable nights despite late night parties in the vicinity. As ever the Kiwi manager was friendly and helpful. The location is on the edge of town, but still only 10mins walk from the i-site and pretty well everything else. Recommended without reservation.

Not the best in town, location or rooms, but a nice, clean place. We were there off-season, and got a very good rate, but even in high season the rates aren't too bad. For a tourist town, Paihia isn't terribly expensive, but this motel is almost cheap. Nice folks, helpful staff, good beds. Quiet location, five minutes to downtown.

Room Tip: I would think they're all fine. Perhaps I'd avoid the pool area in high season - probably lots of kids from dawn to dusk.
