“See the Hole in the Rock & Cape Brett in next to no time”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

We really enjoyed this quick boat ride to the "Hole in the Rock" & Cape Brett. We were lucky the day we went the bay was pretty calm. Once we reached the open sea there were a few swells and that was very exciting. Highly recommended especially for people who don't have a great deal of time in Paihai. This trip takes less than two hours. Rain proof Jackets are issued. We did get a little wet as some water splashed into the boat and was sloshing around on the floor.

“I love the wind in my hair!”
Reviewed March 14, 2012

I enjoyed having the wind in my hair as we boated out to the hole in the rock. The 1.5 hour cruise met my needs perfectly on this day and I appreciated the other scenic stops. It was thrilling when the friver took the boat into a cave, then turned around and drove out. It was also cool to drive through the hole in the rock.

“The Mack Attacked”
Reviewed February 25, 2012

Exhilirating, fun, very enjoyable and a great way to travel around the bay of islands on a time frame and for those who are prone to see sickness. Best thing about it though, is that this speed boat is small enough to go INSIDE the cave next to the hole in the rock ... unlike the other cruise boats. Well worth the price and they tend to go hail, rain or shine ... unlike some other companies. You also can get very up close and personal with a suprise (dolphins ... lots of them ... If you're lucky). Definitely recommended.

“Mack attack...hold on and get your best grin out ready to use.”
Reviewed January 29, 2012

Safety is clearly paramount right from the start. We sat right up front and we got the wettest.

The Aussies on board hid down the back but the Kiwis (as always) got the best ride. Aussies, you have to love them.

Skipper was fun, boat was faster than it seemed and the entire trip was awesome.

Recommend as a "must do" in Paihia.
