This is fantastic accommodation at incredibly reasonable prices. The property was a motel and has just been refurbished as a backpackers/youth hostel. The rooms are all ensuite and I stayed for three nights in double room. It was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It also had a sea view. The shared kitchen and dining room had a real seaside apartment feel. It was fully equipped with plenty of space for cooking and food storage. There was also a separate TV lounge with 42” plasma screen. The 6 bed dorm rooms were set out in alcoves with 2 single beds per section and no bunks. Seabeads is across the road from the beach and round the corner from the supermarket. It’s not listed in the lonely planet and is in the BBH guide as too new to rate, so it’s a real hidden gem.
