“Average Breakfast”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2013

Went here for breakfast on a Sunday. It was busy but service was quick. The lady we ordered from behind the counter had a very limited knowledge of the menu and seemed quite distracted. The food was average however expensive. Eggs benedict was extremely salty served on soggy bread and with over done poached eggs. Lambs fry did not come with eggs so you had to order eggs as an extra. When it arrived it was lamb, mushrooms and dry toast. When questioned they said they did forget the bacon so quickly cooked some up but without a nice gravy to bring it all together it was quite dry and lacking in flavour. Like I said above it was average and when paying cafe prices we expected a bit more.

“Great little cafe for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2013

This place has a great range of food, from cooked breakfasts, to soups and risottos for lunch, and a really good cup of tea and cake for that afternoon dip. There are gluten-free options, and they also did dairy-free for a friend, so they can pretty much cater for all. They have a few pavement tables where you can sit in the sun and watch the world go by, or plenty of indoor seating if it's raining. The staff looked slightly harassed with the volume of people, but were extremely friendly and helpful depite that. Definitely recommended.

“Good Breakfast with great coffee”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

I was searching for good place to have breakfast on my last trip to Napier. I saw gathering of people at this cafe and I decided to have breakfast here and not disappointed with my decision. you can sit in the sun with hot cappuccino in cool weather. you can have quick snacks also, they have decent variety to choose from. I tried Spanish omelette with Double Brown Bread. Food quality is great, Service level is good and they serve with beautiful smile, highly recommended.

“tasty food & speedy service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2013

cool bo-ho vibe to this cafe on the inside & lovely tables along the sidewalk for outside dining & people watching
we were there early for breakfast on a sunday morning - but still very pleasant sitting outside
shared a big breakfast & it was all good to very good (& not expensive)
the coffee was also quality
what I found impressive about this place was how quickly the food/coffee was made & delivered to us. The place was busy enough & I even made a change to the original order but it all seemed to arrive within minutes of us sitting down.
impressive given how tasty it was...

“ALWAYS EXCELLENT COFFEE & FOOD”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013

You can always rely on Ujazi to provide you with an excellent coffee and whatever kind of brunch / lunch you feel like. Be it a full breakfast or a quick light lunch.

We always go to Ujazi when in Napier for the best coffee. And you can't beat sitting outside on the footpath watching the world go by on a sunny day.
