“Always a good lunch”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

During work in Napier in May I was happy to have a few lunches at Cappadonna. The food selection is good, and always nicely presented. Nice fresh food. Great for the working lunch. The coffees are pretty good to. Just to top it all off, the staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Recommended.

“Cakes are beautiful”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

This cafe is lovely, They have a great outdoor seating area out the front of cafe. It's right in the centre of town in one of the main shopping streets. They have a great breakfast and lunch menu. They have a cabinet full of lovely cakes.

“A nice cafe in Napier”
Reviewed June 13, 2014

This place is well situated, right in the center of Emerson Street, Napier where shops are located. It offers a variety to eat and drink but unfortunately does not have a toilet (you will need to go to a public one on Dickens Street). Here the outdoor seating is nice and preferable as the inside of the cafe is rather small. The taste of coffee was acceptable. When it comes to the food, you have to be selective and know what they do well (and what no so well). The cakes here are some of the best compared to other cafes in town. I have been here on numerous occasions over time for a variety of reasons. This place is recommendable if you have time and want to relax or rest a little. This is worth trying, especially in the summer.

“Yummy food. No toilet for miles”
Reviewed May 16, 2014 via mobile

Huge choice of delicious food. Service variable from extremely friendly to totally unhelpful. No loo for miles, so plan a toilet stop before going to this place.

“Not worth the wait”
Reviewed April 21, 2014 via mobile

There were three of us. We ordered brunch, having parked on the meter which only allows for an hour.
We ordered an omelette, French toast and the all day breakfast.... This took over 40 minutes to arrive. People who had arrived after us were getting served!!!
We had to ask a waitress where the food was.
When it finally came out you could tell we had been forgotten about and it was a quick slap up job.
The so called toast was not toasted....it was bread!!!!!!!
A complete disappointment especially for the price.
Milk and honey along the waterfront is a much better option for the same price!
