This pleasant cafe offers a wide menu selection. We ordered a BBQ chicken panini, eggs and toast, and an open-faced veggie sandwich, all of which were fresh and delicious. The pot of tea cleverly came with a timer to let us know when it was finished brewing.

Was in Napier for 2 days and ate here twice. The muffins has NO equal and the creamy Mushroom breakfast exceptional. A wonderful escape from the weather but the outside seating will be our next try on our return- and we will.

I made mum and dad come back here 3 times, even though they forgot dad's eggs the first time but soon fixed it. Breakfast is good with an extensive breakfast and lunch menu available from 7am every day. Coffee was the best I had tasted in a very long time! Very large cabinet with plenty of delicious looking savory and sweet slices, muffins, biscuits etc and divine cakes and gateaux which are homemade at a local bakery. Wld recommend when in napier for the coffee alone.

Early saturday morning coffee and cheesecake. The coffee was very good but the cheesecake was better. Never been here before, but after this stop I certainly will be trying more of their cakes. The service was good as they had the coffee and cheese cakes arrive at the same time which never seems to happen. Often cafes will have the cakes in front of you in seconds and the coffee arrives like 5 mins later, after you finished the cakes. I would rate Cappadonna better than average but we have no option for Good. Nice outside seating with the Hawke's Bay Express making a pass as we sipped our coffee, good setting for early morning coffee break.

Had a light lunch here after watching the Vintage Car Parade, one of the highlights of the Art-Deco weekend. The restaurant had a selection of savoury snacks and desserts on display as well as a board showing a range of light cooked meals. Our savoury snacks included paninis and bagels, and our desserts included mango cheesecake and tiramisu cake. We ate the lunch at the sidewalk tables. The savoury snacks can be described as average quality whereas the desserts were possibly above average. The service was pleasant, although a couple of requests were forgotten. In summary, this is a place to go for quick, average quality and reasonably priced lunch.
