We stayed here for one night on our way from Wellington to Auckland, and had a really wonderful experience. We had the back bedroom with the balcony, which I found to be extremely inviting and comfortable. I loved the bathroom, which looks newly (and beautifully) renovated and completely spotless. In the bedroom, the furniture and incredibly soft linens were all of very high quality and good taste. The bed was so comfortable that I would have loved to spend an entire day lounging in it! Needless to say, we had an excellent night's sleep. In the morning, we were treated to a very elaborate Continental breakfast, consisting of pastries, fruits, cereals, yogurt, toast, and a variety of preserves. I was able to eat enough that I barely wanted lunch several hours later! I would highly recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast, and would travel back to Napier solely to stay there again if I could!

The front room is huge and incredibly confortable, the breakfast was amazing with lots of fruits with wonderful local jams, pastries, cereals, ...
The location is ideal in front of the sea and within 5 minutes walk of central Napier. The hostess was very nice and helful. We really enjoyed you stay and would highly recommend it.

What a wonderful B&B. The hosts were sweet, lovely and warm.
And to top it off the breakfast was exceptional (5 star luxury).

We planned to stay only for one night, but liked it so much so we stayed an extra night.
Go and see for yourself, you will love it too!

WOW! What a fantastic surprise! My partner and I had been on the road for about 2 and 1/2 weeks and had stayed in many different sorts of accommodation. Out of all of the places we had stayed in we were most pleasantly surprised by this one. Modest but classically beautiful exterior made way to absolutely stunning interior with attention paid to every detail. It was certainly to our taste anyway. It was spotless throughout and lived up to the 'boutique' label with top quality furnishings and decor that still retained a homely touch. A friendly welcome from both owners crowned by the splendid breakfast spread eaten by the log fire. If every contintental breakfast was as plentiful as this you would never need a full english! A MUST STAY if in Napier, but be quick as current owners are in the process of putting it up for sale.
