We stopped by for lunch and a wine tasting at Church Rd - food was interesting and sophisticated, (and very reasonably priced!) We had Beef Carpaccio with Goats Cheese Pannacotta and Drunken Mushrooms; and Middle Eastern-Spiced Lamb Cutlets on a Citrusy Faro Salad with Hummus. Our waitress was wonderful and food came out very quickly. Sitting outdoors in the sunshine was very peaceful and pretty.
Wine tasting was great too - they had some really interesting wines I haven't tried elsewhere, like a Sauvignon Gris and a Marzemino. A very well run and enjoyable cellar door and restaurant.
