“Enjoying nature!”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful estuary walk which we did in September while staying in Napier for two nights. I especially relished the peace and ease of this flat walk, seeing some swans along the way, as we had just done quite a long tiring walk at Rotorua seeing the thermal activity.
Nature is indeed wonderful, and the best thing is that it is free for everyone to enjoy!

“Pretty walk”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

We walked this on a stunning sunny day and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were quite a few swans and ducks close to the shoreline and this was an easy flat walk.

“relaxing place”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

a beautiful walk, which I have done several times. Each time the estuary has a different face: there is always something new to discover: whether it is observing the wading birds or the little crabs or the plants and trees ... the estuary is always enjoyable.

“Awesome scenery and good tracks”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Easy to access and you can pick how long you walk for based on which tracks you take. Dogs must be leashed at all times to protect the wildlife. Tracks are good and suitable for pushing a wheelchair or pram in most places
