Our B&B hosts had recommended the Trattoria alla Toscana to us. Having been to Italy numerous times and coming from Germany where there are many good Italian restaurants, we weren't too sure whether this place was worth going to. It was. We had a fantastic three course meal. Started off with a mixed starter platter including delicious home-made pesto, liver paté, salami, bread etc. Main courses (pasta and meat) were excellent, too. Dessert was tiramisù - what else?! Equally delicous. Enzo, the host and owner, was very friendly and nice to talk to. Overall an absolute recommendation for what must surely be one of the best Italians outside of Italy!
