I recently had dinner at the Westshore Inn Bistro and it was absolutely superb!! the food was great, the service was outstanding and I have and will continue to recommend to all the people I know or do business with or for. I have been living in New Zealand for 17 years now and have travelled all over the country and can without any hesitation say that the Westshore Inn is the best place I've ever been to for dinner, drinks or for accommodation. Great Job Westshore!!! no doubt the best place in Napier and possibly New Zealand to eat or stay. Keep up the great work!!

We visited the Westshore Beach Inn Bistro after hearing that the meals are fantastic. We were not disappointed!

Our first visit was for lunch. Our large group shared some garlic ciabatta breaad and crumbed fresh fish with fries. Delicious!!!! For mains, I chose the CLT (chicken, lettuce, tomato on toasted ciabatta) while my partner chose the free range chicken, feta & sundried tomato salad. Both mains were large and extremely tasty. Our entire group enjoyed their meals immensely.

We returned in the evening with another large group. The 7 boys went outside to play cricket and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our remaining party of 14 mingled around the tables. Toni, our waitress, was extremely efficent. She took the children's orders so that they would be fed first. She then took our orders, even though we were standing around the restaurant in small groups chatting. I was impressed when she brought the meals out after we had sat down and remembered what everyone had ordered. I had the juicy pork spare ribs (extra large). The meat melted off the bones, and the sauce was amazing. Thoroughly recommended! For dessert, I tried the sticky date pudding, and also some of the classic creme brulee. Both were fantastic!

I thoroughly recommend the food at the Westshore Beach Inn Bistro. The beer selection was extensive with craft beers from everywhere, and the service from Toni was extremely efficient and friendly. Awesome!

A spur of the moment decision to come to this restaurant for lunch was an extremely pleasant surprise. There is an extensive range of crafted beers, staff who served us were very knowledgable. Food was really well cooked and well up to expectations. Good coffee too. Thanks.

Yes were keen on our craft bier here. We struggle to keep up with bier list because there are some many new interesting breweries and biers to sample. The old cliché...someone has to do it! Cheers & Beers Jeremy Bayliss

There is a promise we always make - Fresh fish never frozen. Funny story one of our suppliers "tried" to drop in some frozen fish the junior chef sent them packing saying it was his job on the line of he used frozen fish. That is our commitment. Cheers & Beers Jeremy Bayliss

Had a very pleasant eating experience here. The food taste great and was reasonably priced. Our meals took a while to come out but we were apologised to by friendly staff and given free drinks. Would go back for sure.
