Description: Hawkes Bays oldest Pub still operating on its original site - 1925 when the current building was established. Licenced since 1851!! Westshore Beach Inn has become a firm favourite with locals and tourists alike. Napiers craft bier library- We have the most fabulous range of craft bier FRESH from the tap - Our own on site micro brewery 25 FREH biers on tap at any one time. Fill here - Take there....YES we fill Pots, Growlers, Camels n Riggers!! We have our Bistro with a fabulous lawn area that starts the day with lunch ( from 11.30am) then continuous through to dinner 7 days a week. The Bistro & Philippine Asian Kitchen all do simple fresh food with produce from Napier County and its artisans. Fresh Food NOT fast food from local suppliers is the mantra we operate to. Free range chicken and Verry's free range eggs feature on all menus. Our sustainably caught Fresh Fish is caught DAILY by Karl and Sarah from Better Fishing - It is the most superb flavour and texture - Often only a few hours since being caught. We are delighted to announce we have opened our Philippine Asian Kitchen with authentic and fresh flavours - OPEN dinner Tuesday to Sunday (Sunday lunch). Cheers & Beers The Bayliss family

Stopped over for one night on a business trip. The craft beer selection was extraordinary. The meal that followed was incredibly good. The bread board was generous with a lot of variety. The beef cheeks were very tender and left me wishing for more. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
A very pleasant experience.

Stopped here for evening tipple. Lovely spot and great mine host.
In Napier proximate to the estuary and Napier Bay (Westshore of Napier Bay) just down the Quay from the Yacht club, We liked it so much we inquired about rooms. This place is good value, clean, tidy and run by a lovely family. Heaps to do close by in the old port.

Yes Napier has so much to offer and we are happy to be in amongst it. The cafe has got off to a great start with locals and visitors, the big grass garden really popular with overseas visitors. Cheers n Biers Jeremy

We enjoyed our evening out dining at the Westshore Inn. We didnt have to wait long for our delicious meals and the service was awesome. We took our two young daughters and there was toys to entertain them and also a great kids menu for them including yum desserts and drinks. Taking kids out for a meal can be hard work but we were made to feel very welcome. Would recommend to anyone kids or not. We'll be back!!!

Glad the whole family enjoyed it. We have a seven year old ourselves and know what its like. Its great as every birthday we get more toys for the pub and visiting kids!!! We are opening the Garden soon and hope to add trampoline and more outdoor stuff so you can enjoy an extra wine or craft beer. Cheers & Beers Jeremy Bayliss

Well we had to see what all the fuss was about and weren't dissapointed. From appearances this is a little country pub but boy do they do really fantastic food and very reasonable prices. Could not be faulted.

Kind words indeed. Yes looks can be deceiving, The Pub was first licence in 1865 and the current building predates the 1931 earthquake being built in 1926. Sometimes I am sure this "history" puts people off - I love it. Cheers & Beers Jeremy Bayliss
