We stayed for a one night stop over and this was perfect for our needs. The rooms were small but well appointed with little things like a make-up table in the bathroom that made a point of difference. The wi-fi was free and it worked. Standard foxtel channels on tv. We drove into town for dinner so I'm not sure what is available within walking distance. Overall a pleasant stay.

Really horrible. Extremely noisy road. Dirty fan. Dirty blinds. No air circulation. Fan didn’t work. Run by non New Zealanders. Don’t stay here. Really really disappointing.
Nothing good today say about this place. Stupid little uncomfortable waiting room sofa thing masquerading as a couch. Rather stay in a tent !

Enjoyed our stay at BK Settlers. Surprised at the nice spacious twin room for the price. Lounge had Easyboy style seats, which were appreciated. Great shower pressure and usual array of appliances. Off street parking affords security for cars. Staff very friendly.

We had an upstairs room at the back so it was a little quieter than I thought it would be - apart from the guests in the upstairs unit across the hall from us, who let the door slam every time they left the unit and thundered up and down the stairs during the night! A draught stop would have been good on the unit door as a cold draught from the open stairwell came under the large gap under the door. Car parking is a bit of a hassle as the parks are narrow and not numbered. We had to try and back in to the park closest to our room but one night a huge 4WD had taken that park so we had to park near the office. Plenty of huge bath towels, good shower pressure, and large bathroom. Lights over mirror could do with being cooler - even without the heat lamp turned on, the bathroom was hot due to the mirror lights. Heater is a wall-mounted digital one and there were no instructions. TV could do with being on a longer arm as you can't turn it around enough to watch from anywhere other than the bed. Mind you, the couch wasn't overly comfortable anyway! Room serviced daily, they even made the bed! Staff friendly, and room good value. Unit nice and clean and fresh smelling. Bedside lamps a bit wobbly. Fridge didn't seem to keep things very cold.

Room Tip: The upper rooms at the back are probably quieter, but unit doors slam and stairs are noisy.

A nice place to stay. The beds were comfortable and spacious rooms. The woman at reception was incredibly friendly. Where I did not get the chance to give the spa a go it looked very inviting, however the water pressure was good. The point I would note that the there is no heat pump, rather just a plug in heater which was enough for the room we were in. Would recommend staying here when visiting hamilton.
