After a long journey from Auckland arriving at this hotel was a great surprise. Do not expect all the mod cons of a big hotel chain, what you get is very good value for money and immaculate rooms. Most importantly you get charm and service that puts may larger hotels to shame. It started with the wonderful welcome from Dale who is care-taking form the owners. We could not have been in better hands. The hotel has been operating for a number of years but due to the attention of the owners looks very fresh. The rooms are large and spacious, well equipped and like the exterior is fresh and clean, very homely. Dale and John provided great guides as to what to see in Hamilton and the nearby territory. We were traveling with 2 another family who stayed in the spacious suite. They also were very impressed. If you are looking for a hotel mid way to Taupo form Auckland give this one a try.

    Very clean and modern.
We booked the disability unit because we had Nana in tow.
It had an enormous bathroom. You could have manged three or more wheel chairs in it, but it seemed to be at the expense of a very small lounge/ kitchen area and only seating for two people. Bedrooms OK.

Room Tip: This room was right at the end of the row at theback, so reasonably quiet.

We booked based on the reviews on trip advisor and it was just great. Perfect location for Waitomo caves (1 hour drive), shops and great food in town. Our studio was very spacious, clean and modern. The couple looking after the motel was really nice and helpful when we asked where to buy a couple of things and recommended good places to eat. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here one night when haeding for Auckland Airport on the way back from Rotorua. It's well located on the northern side of Hamilton, on the main road out of town, so we could get out on our way to the airport easily. It was exactly what we were looking for. It's fairly new, very clean, the 2 bedroom room was fine for a family f 4. The owner was very helpful and friendly with lots of directions and tips. At the time we were there, there was no wireless internet, which mde it impossible to use our ipads, but the oner said he had received quotes and was gettiung it installed. Wired internet access was free. The only othe small issue is that our apartment was upstairs and we were travelling with 4 large suitcases, so it was a bit of a drag carrying all the luggage upstairs for one night, but it wasn't a major issue. It was well set up for a business travller, but erfect for an overnight stop, as there probably isn't much to do in Hamilton, so I couldn't see us spening a few days there.

Room Tip: As for a downstairs room if you have lots of luggage

I have made this my usual when I am in Hamilton for work. Extremely CLEAN & Tidy. Steve is the owner & is usually on front desk. He's a hell of a nice guy! I made a comment on the towels once, he told me that he had aquired new toweling for the entire complex! The beds are comfortable. Furniture modern & spacious. Good coffee (moccona & plunger) & facilities. Free Broadband. No complaints at all. Just what you want after a hard day at work or a holiday stay in the Tron.

    Room Tip: Back units quieter
