We last went to La Padella many years ago and remember having a great time. Since then we've walked past on the way to the supermarket and the smell of the garlic bread was wonderful, we kept saying we must go back.
So we did and discovered very little had changed- this was not a good thing.
I'm sure the menu is the same as last time. Every sauce made with cream and the pizzas old standards of hawaiian, meatlovers, four seasons etc. Deserts were all served with chocolate sauce and more cream. The pasta dishes were tasty but really nothing you couldn't produce at home and the pizza base was soggy.
Decor is old school which was OK and the service was prompt and friendly but we really would suggest they try a few updated menu items including salads, vegetarian options and some more interesting pizzas - cooked properly.
