I've been making regular visits here along with friends and family since the mid 90's and the fact that Alleluya has been in the same ownership since then is testament to it's excellence.
Alleluya is located at the end of St Kevins Arcade that was built in the first quarter of the last century. The furnature is very rustic along with the atmosphere, in fact i've always had the feeling I was on an old ocean Steam Ship with the lovely skylight above and the Nikau palms everywhere.
The coffee is tops and a large selection of food from breakfast to supper is available and in generous quantity at a decent price.
Staff are friendly and prompt, not that promptness is an issue as this place is so relaxing!!. If you are visiting Auckland, this is a must visit as it's an old Gem that still shines in an Auckland that is slowly being taken over by modernity.

We walked along K road and chanced upon this cafe. The service was great, ambience was warm and the food arrived hot and fast.

I love the setting, the huge portions and the flavours of each dish.

I would return again when I am in Auckland for a beautiful brunch. Coffee was good and service was very friendly. There was also free wifi which was appreciated.

When I don't feel like paying $30 for a hotel breakfast, I come here, beautiful building on K road, very good coffee and good breakfast selection. Nice large tables so you can read the paper.

Ate here a couple of times. Love the setting overlooking the park, the shops in the arcade and the old chairs and tables. Loved the food, coffee and friendly service.

Heard a lot about this place so was looking forward to Brunch here today. The sun was out and I managed to get a seat in the sun overlooking Myers Park. A great place to chill and take in the atmosphere. The café is set in the old St. Kevin's Arcade, which houses a bunch of shops selling, bric-a-brac, retro clothing and second hand books. Well worth a browse.

Unfortunately the food itself was disappointing, the coffee too. The Eggs Benedict was tasty, but on the small side and with no side salad or other accompaniment. The coffee was strong, but rather small, possibly burnt and with a lot of froth on top.
