We went on the day of the RWC quarter finals. It was heaving.
We hadn't booked and they still managed to find the two of us a space.
Quality of the food , despite the crowds was undiminished.
Thoroughly recommended

We visited Taiko on a Saturday night after making reservation in the morning. The place was packed. Ian was the Manager that night and he was so apologetic as we were delayed in seating by may be five minutes and offered to buy us a round of drinks..(There was no need for it, as the restaurant was packed).

Food quality was excellent, and the service was very prompt. As we ordered additional items after our first order, they were brought out very quickly so we never had to wait. For kids, it was their first outing to a Sushi place (they normally enjoy Tappanyaki) and they fell in love with the restaurant and Ian's hospitality.

I have been here once and was disappointed with the food and the service was inattentive. I also thought it was overpriced. For the same money, you get more bang for your buck at Tanuki for sure. For eating in Kingsland, I prefer Canton.
