For the meagre $50.25 we spent we had a very generous and authentic meal - 2 courses, shared satay entre, rice and roti. The manager was very helpful about combinations and what we should order and the food certainly didn't disappoint! The meat was so tender, and I was told it was marinated in kiwifruit to tenderize - so much nicer than the old trick of baking soda. Didn't realize the restaurant was BYO - helpfully pointed over the road - 4 minutes later back in seat, with a paltry $1 corkage - love it!
Will be back. The crowded restaurant at 6.30pm on a Saturday ( you really should book) speaks volumes for the quality and value.
Hope the management don't change a winning formula on the strength of good reviews.
