Having had a memorable meal here when it was White restaurant, we were looking forward to our return, but this was a disappointing evening. One part of this was hardly the fault of the restaurant, which in mediocre weather lowers plastic screens to protect diners on its verandah. These screens are effective in reducing its - normally superb - outlook of the harbour. As for food, my Octopus and Potato salad was excellent, as (said my wife) were her Scallops; but our main courses - Seafood Stew and 'Market Fresh' Fish, were less satisfactory. Service was good, if sometimes a little obsequious. Hard to put a finger on it, but we came away unenthusiastic (and very much poorer). Go for lunch, or on a mild summer night - improved visibility will add to the experience.
