Sat ouside on a sunny afternoon. Relaxed, friendly service. Refreshing gazpacho to start with a very good wine list by glass. Salmon gravlax was superb and chicken breast delicious.
Highly recommend

The food here was sensational. Food is well priced but wine very expensive. Had the most amazing calamari I have ever eaten. Dessert was to die for. Staff were great, tentative but not in your face. Definitely worth a visit.

I've been wanting to try this iconic restaurant for about 5 years and my fiancee surprised me for my birthday this year. The decor and atmosphere is amazing. It was a Tuesday night, but still busy.
We tried the 5 course tasting menu for $75. I was a bit taken aback as each course was an entree size only. Normally with a shorter tasting menu (ie not 8 or 9 degustations), there is a slightly larger meat course that serves as a "main". However, thinking back on it, the flavours were delicious and it was still excellent value.
Then comes a major diappointment in the wine match. They do not offer a formal wine match but said that they would work with what we like and have a choice with each course. Whilst interesting, the wine matches weren't that great and, for one course, it was completely wrong (duck overpowered by a red). This might have been OK, except that when we came to pay the bill, the wine came to almost $250. Really shocking and dampened the whole feel of the evening.
So, overall, I would recommend the food, but choose a nice bottle of wine from the menu. For great wine matches, go to No. 5 or Sidart.

Had a lovely lunch at Tribeca - entree each, duck and pork belly with a side order to share was the perfect lunch size. Attentive service and good wine selection.

We had a truly special lunch today.

The whitebait with poached egg, asparagus and lime aioli dish was devine - it's probably the best whitebait I've tasted. For the main I tried the poussin and confit leg schnitzel with oyster mushrooms, leeks, smoked chipotle and crispy skin. Everything was delicious.

I highly recommend the excellent food and service at this restaurant.
