I went to the French cafe with a special friend I wanted to thank. We had a lovely meal, a la carte. The quality of the food was impeccable with original dishes and subtle flavours. It lived up to its reputation. Only two negatives for me were the slightly pretentious service, and the overall ambiance, which I found cold by wanting to be too slick and modern.
