the 4 of us were about to go upstairs to burn some cash at the roulette tables and thought that it would be wise to have a meal before we loose all our cash
so rebo was just there in the entrance
they offered a steak/galls of wine combo for about 30 buks i went for that and the others had some salads/ pizza
very nice wine and the steak was done very good
fast friendly service and good wine selection
meal for 4 plus wines for all was under 200$
anyhow i ended up winning at the table so the meal was paid for by the luck of the wheel
cheers

This cafe-style restaurant at the entrance to the Sky City complex is not to be recommended. The food choices sound good, but the cooking poor and overall rather greasy. I started with quite awful arancini, consisting of little other than rice which had been fried in rancid oil - then a duck salad, which was mainly cole slaw - along with a glass of what was said to be Wither Hills Riesling, though it tasted like no other such wine I sampled in my month in NZ. Service is OK, though a little rushed. This place is not good enough for what claims to be a central attraction in Auckland.

You can get a coffee and cake for 5NZ$ (£2.50) which was excellent for breakfast! Only downside I would have liked a sandwich and coffee for 7.5 NZ$ as advertised but they did not have these even at 9.30 am.

A very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, staff were helpful and patient. Kids meals were great and well worth the money and even had something for the kids to do, entrees were a nice size to share. The surf n turf was beautifully presented and had alot on the plate, burgers were huge and duck risotto was sublime will definitely be returning to REBO'S again.

Having just arrived in Auckland at 0600 and not knowing in advance how tired we would be, we didn't make reservations for Valentine's Day. However, we had a great recommendation for th Rebo. Since it was Chinese New Year Week, there was a very loud drum ceremony which disracted from any ambience. Not scenic, but I was there with my husband down under for Valentine's Day which was enough for me!
