This restaurant keeps getting better. We dine there about once a year, and have twice booked the private room at the back. On our visit last week we noticed an improvement in what had always been a great place. The amouse bouche (we hadn't had that there before) was sublime - a little bowl of soup flavoured with licorice - we could have eaten an entire meal of it. We shared the entree tasting trio - scallops, venison and snapper sashimi - all perfect. My wife and I only ever order the pork belly roulade, which we love, so i cannot comment on the other main courses!
What is also a great feature of the restaurant is that some of the waiters have been there for years - it is good to see such consistancy in both the food and the staff.
