How refreshing to see a whole page of interesting under $50 wines but also some great Burgundy, well chosen Bordeaux and some of the best NZ wines from smaller producers. Food is first class but without the price tag of some of the more pretentious Auckland restaurants. Excellent charcuterie selection and attention to detail in the dishes which reminds me of some great dining in France (though much healthier). The real stars are the staff however; professional and unobtrusive, what a refreshing change from the overly friendly but incompetent that I've become used to. The acoustics are worth a mention too; quiet and subtle. A lot of thought has gone into this place; we'll definitely be back.
