Last minute booking on a busy Saturday night, the agreed to fit is us in early. Ordinary building in Parnell belied the impressive surroundings, helpful but unpretentious staff, excellent menu and wonderful ambience. I had the Coromandel scallops as the main, the good lady wife had the duck leg, and the 8 year old had the snapper fish of the day. All delicious, excellent presentation, and nicely sorted by the Wooing Tree Rose from Otago. On the face of it, not set up for kids but our little one will eat what we eat and the wait staff were very supportive and indulgent of our mini-adult. Price was not not at all outrageous compared to some Auckland restaurants with a far less impressive board of fare. We'll be back!
