This is one of those charming, pokey, old fashioned Italian restaurants. The kind with plastic grape vines hanging from the ceiling, Cianti bottles as décor, and a flirtatious old school Italian gentleman serving you. The kind with traditional dishes, powdered parmesan and a complimentary shot of Limoncello to help you swallow the (pretty reasonable) bill. It's far from fine dining, but it's cosy & welcoming & familiar. I have a fondness for places like this and my teenage son loves them. We dined here twice during a short trip to Auckland.
