Awesome garden, park overlooking the harbor. Beautiful landscaping. Great place to take scenic photos of the garden and views of the harbor. Well worth the time. Free to enter.

This was a very peaceful and relaxing place to spend an hour or so. The flowers were beautiful and the views fabulous. A decent cafe is on site and the gardens have a stop for the HOHO buses.

Walked up the path from Mission Bay by the carpark near NZ Natural. It led up to the Memorial and garden area. It wasn't very busy so it was a nice place to stroll around. The memorial area also has great views of Rangitoto Island and the Hauraki Gulf.
There is a carpark area so you can drive up here.

We came up here on a Sunday afternoon. There were lots of families and it was not too crowded because the weather was a little misty, but the views were outstanding.

This was my third time there and I never thought of leaving a review to this place as I thought its not that important of a place when we have mission bay near by. But I have to say this place is little hidden gem. Lot of green, nice view of the sea, pleasant sea breeze, good sun, quite place to enjoy if you would like to get away from the super busy Auckland city. We quite enjoyed our time there and our kid enjoyed running around and exploring new things. You can take Cooke’s food or drink there no bbq facilities though, there is a new cafe opened and seems like a good idea. So go take a break and just don’t do anything there.
