Wonderful place to reflect and honor the memory of a wonderful man who helped frame the future of New Zealand. Beautiful surroundings and family friendly. So nice to see New Zealanders, young and old, and visitors, lavish in this wonderful park.

A great place to visit for the views of Auckland and the harbour. If you like symmetry and neat gardens, this is a great place to go to keep your eyes happy. Recommended for graduation / wedding / family photoshoots.

I can spend a whole morning in The Savage Garden. It has wonderful views of the sea and the islands and so many flowers around you. You can sit by the grass or the benches around the landmark.

Well maintained and a lovely peaceful place to spend the afternoon. Great views over Auckland - best place to take visitors. Take a picnic as no kiosk.

Its nearly winter so we were not able to see too many flowers in bloom and the best time is likely spring, but the gardens are still very pretty and vast. Its a great picnic spot and a beautiful spot to see Auckland city from. Lovely place also to take a lot of photographs.
