Incredibly friendly and helpful staff at Al's Deli. I had The Main (smoked brisket and mustard) on sourdough bread. This also came with half a kosher pickle. As well as this I had the poutine - fries with gravy and cheese curds. The hand cut fries (I believe?) were very good, and the cheese curds weren't what I was expecting, in a good way. Sadly, the only letdown of the meal was the gravy on the poutine. It was overly salty and you could quite clearly see that it was a packet gravy. I had hoped that a place that made it's own bagels etc would also make it's own gravy. But no.
Nevertheless, the service and the rest of the food was great. Got a maple bacon cronut to go. I'd still recommend going there. Would have given 4.5 stars if I could.
