Absolutely sublime experience all round. Such a treat for a special occasion. The vegan tasting menu was faultless. Had been a few times for drinks but will definitely be back for dinner. Must try.

This is our first dining visit over the ditch in 2 years due to covid
We were disappointed to find that a few of our favourite restaurants didn’t survive the lockdowns
Amex recommended this restaurant and although the thought didn’t appeal we tried it anyway as they had booked
What a great experience The deluxe tasting menu is to die for
Will certainly return our next visit

I made a booking for 5 people for my brothers birthday dinner in May 2022. Got a phone call confirmation that afternoon. However, when my family arrived, i was notified that there was a mistake in their booking system and that there was no table for me. Only table available was at the bar which had couches and coffee tables which were not suitable for dining use. They didnt compensate me and only told me there was table available at the orbit restaurant 2 hours later if i wanted to go there.

Would give 0 if i could since i didnt even get to eat there.

It's all in the title, this place is warm and well decorated with an incredible view of Auckland.
The cocktails are delicious and well presented. We also ate some snacks which were really nice and original but we didn't dine at the Sugar Club so I can't say much more.
In my opinion, the only downside is that you have to consume a minimum of 40$/p which is about two cocktails per person.
Also, don't forget to make a reservation to get a seat.

We decided to have the tasting menu
The bread starter was nice then it went down hill from there. The fish was over cooked and the ribs tasted more like brisket. Both were returned.
To finish we did have nice desserts.
We did have a nice waitress called Alex who tried her best but frankly it felt like processed cruise ship food .
Won’t go back again.. which is a shame as the view is wonderful but the standard is dress us also lacking
