Four of us went to this local restaurant on Friday the 8th of November.
Firstly the acoustics are shocking with the sound reverberating round so it was extremely difficult to hear our conversation. I do wish restaurants would pay more attention to this problem.
We ordered four mains at a cost of $28 each which I thought was a bit high. My main was kingfish and I presumed that it would come with potatoes or some other carb but 3 small roundells of fish and a smear of puréed carrot was just about it. The waitress spilled most of the juice onto my sleeve as she put my meal down.
My partner was told that chips would accompany her cordon blu chicken but small potatoes came out instead. Our waitress apologised and when we had almost completely finished our mains came back with a plate of chips. We were charged $9 for those! The wine list did not show prices but we went ahead and ordered a bottle of Pinot Gris which was French and nice but cost $58 as I found out when I went to pay.
Total cost for a main each and a bottle of wine shared four ways was $180 which I found absolutely excessive.
We won't be back and I suggest you check the prices closely before committing to your meal.
