Our printed guide book said this was difficult to find. We found it easily enough but only because we'd already read what we were looking for - a cafe in the middle of motor bike repair shop, come showroom, come museum! The cafe is in the middle of a large warehouse complex not far from Auckland's main shopping streets. Once the warehouse doors are slid back the cafe name is split across the two doors - a permanent name above the doors would be helpful.
We went for breakfast mid week and the cafe was busy with a mixture of office workers nipping in for a takeout coffee, to those having an meeting over breakfast, to some biker tourists and us - just tourists!
The menu had the usual bacon and egg dishes all freshly cooked with their own unusual twists along with other dishes such as French toast, muffins, etc. We asked for orange juice with ours and they said they squeezed their own which surprised us but it certainly tasted like it.
Overall the food was a little but pricey but we felt the quality matched. The surroundings are great - lots of expensive motor bikes and other biking memorabilia together with a workshop with vintage bikes under repair. It was wet the day we went but they have outside seating too.
We've since read some poor reports about their service on other food websites but on the visit we had the service could not be faulted - very friendly and accommodating. We'd certainly go back if on the area. They're open for lunch too.
