“organics focus, good coffee”

Came for brunch on a Sunday morning with 3 others. It's positioned as an organics cafe in this trendy neighbourhood. Good coffee, however the portion sizes of some of the breakfasts we had was on the small size (e.g., scrambled eggs and bacon). Also some of the staff were not that friendly - it appeared they did'nt want to be there on a Sunday! $90 for 4 of us incl breakfasts and coffees.

Stayed over a friend's house in auckland for a few days and checked on the internet for a good brunch in aucklanda and this place happened to be 2 mins walking distance from the house so I decided to try it.
The place is a cute little coffee (dutch inspired or owned - I'm not sure), coffee is not impressive but not bad and all the staff is really really friendly. But what it's worth a try is the breakfast (any)!
I had the scrambled eggs with fetta, spinach and crispy bacon on turkish...delicious!
The bill was like 24$ for a Latte and that, which I think is a bit above the normal 'breakfast-rates' in this part of the world (AUS-NZ) but I would definitely 100% go back there for another breakfast cause it was awesome

Good food and coffee. Nice egg dishes. Special breakfast is great too. The portions are quite big. It's a popular place so it's always full but the wait is usually not long. I won't go out of my way to eat there but it's an excellent cafe if you are in the neighbourhood.

I had the scrambled eggs and bacon - picture bright yellow, tasty, creamy, happy-hen laid eggs and insanely tasty, crisp bacon. My husband had the Danish eggs and keeps talking about wanting to learn how to make them. The produce was excellent. The coffee was excellent, smooth and silky, strong but not bitter. Wonderful friendly service. Worth a destination trip for brekkie.

Had an enjoyable quick and light lunch at Zus & Zo. The eggs (perfectly poached) on toast (crunchy 5 grain) were delicious. I was slightly let down by the rock hard avocado.. Perhaps the chef should think twice before sending that out? Apart from that, it was quick and efficient service and fresh food with a nice cafe atmosphere. I will eat there again and would recommend it to others.
