Husband and I popped into Sea Cow recently and had dinner upstairs, looking out over a sparkling Hauraki Gulf.
The service was friendly; attentive without being overbearing. However, the food was the big star. The kokoda starter was delicious; as was the s & p squid. We loved our fish dinners - light batter, lovely chips....delicious. We also had the pineapple pie, which was a lovely end to the meal. So often at popular waterfront spots (like Mission Bay), the food takes a backseat to the food; the establishment relying on ''chancers'' rather than repeat customers.
This isn't the case at Sea Cow, I'm happy to report and we will be back!
