Bavaria Bed and Breakfast is a quiet, unpretentious hotel, in a location close to the city centre and attractions- a short cheap bus ride. Just down or up the road in walking distance are all the facilities one needs. Great restaurants, bars, supermarkets.
However, after my business day was done, I need not go out again. The environment in the Bavaria is so friendly and accommodating. The Bavaria has a lovely light lounge for guests and I was immediately made at ease by the wonderful owner, Ulrike. Ulrike and Rudi, the hosts, are so friendly and helpful, that you are ,without knowing, drawn into conversation with other guests . This is wonderful for the solo traveller.

The service is fantastic - great breakfasts. The rooms are clean and have everything that one needs. Fantastic value for your money.

Understated, unpretentious, undoubtably great quality, service and clealiness. The customer obviously comes first in this establishment.

Bavaria Bed and Breakfast Hotel was home away from home.
Great shower heat and pressure.
Substantial breakfast to start my working day in the city.
Warmly furnished livingroom, comfotable furniture for television viewing or to settle down with the daily paper and a cuppa.
The staff are friendly and helpful and all my needs were attended to.
I live in the countryside on the coast and coming to the 'Big Smoke' is daunting to me.
I was so happy to arrive and stay in such delightful villa. I felt safe.

Easy going and extremely friendly place with lovely hosts who made me feel really welcome. Comfortable bed, clean spacious room. great tasty breakfast with cereals, fruits, and eggs, sausages etc.
Nice and quiet, with shops, banks etc at bottom of road (on Dominion road). Mt Eden shops about ten minutes' walk away.
Would stay here again.

Bavaria B&B is a lovely property that is clean and convient to Auckland activities. The bedroom was bright, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast provided an option of foods including both hot and cold options. The hosts were very warm and informative as well as being multi-lingual. We appreciated the availability of a microwave, refrigerator, and eating area for some other meals.
