Nothing special. One of the busiest streets in Auckland where you can find the main shops and english schools.

With shops and restaurants a plenty you will find everything in one place. Very easy to walk, large sidewalks with plenty space. talk a trip down the many side streets so you don't miss some tucked away shops and bars

Queen street is a long strip of various stores and boutiques. There are high end stores that you would see in the US. There was even a Coach store if you need to pick up a bag while here. There are a large amount of coffee shops. The souvenir shops are not really large and are a little $$. There are liquor stores in this area. It's a street where you can find some of everything, so if you want one place to do everything, this is it.

Wear tennis shoes! There is a lot to see, plenty of shopping, places to eat and things to do.

i spent in auckland 2 years and a half. the first months i was living in the cbd and going to school walking on queen street. the first weeks was fun cause everything was new, but i got sick of queen street very soon, because it's true it's the main road in auckland, there are shops and a lot of restaurants, but it's really nothing typical about new zealand. if you wanna feel different and authentic vibes have a walk in ponsonby or grey lynn, in k rd, in the viaduct harbour, takapuna, mt eden, even newmarket (feel free to skip mission bay thou). let's leave queen street to people working in the offices and foreign students

Shopping District. Good to walk about and windows shops. Can stop by the train station. Nice walks. Short walks to Albert Parks, Museums near by.
Nice Pastries and Coffee at Pandora with friendly waiters.
