Once again i enjoyed staying here for a night. Has to be my favourite place to stay. The Prawn and Scallop pasta was delicious. I prefer to stay here as it is so central. Welldone to the Sebel Team it is an absolute pleasure to stay with you guys. Thanks Greg

The Sebel Suites has a great location in central Auckland and at a very reasonable price. I stayed over for a business and found it much better than similarly priced hotels in the Auckland CBD.

The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in, which was good as I was running late for an evening dinner meeting and had 15 minutes to check-in and get ready.

My room was on the main street side, which has a lot of traffic on it, but I barely heard anything. However, I wish the sound proofing was the same in between the rooms. I had a bit of a noisy neighbour. The room was very spacious, but it felt a bit too sparse. The bed was a good size and quite comfortable. The furniture could be updated a bit to give it a more modern feel, but It was still good.

I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is walking distance to Sky tower and Queen street but right on the water front with all the nice bars and restaurants. In fact, this area is much nicer that Queen street... stay here instead. And this hotel is clean, modern and spacious. Loved it.

Room Tip: We had a room with a harbor view.. .and we didn't get noise from the bars. It was quiet. So, i w...

Great location and excellent rooms is why we choose to stay at Sebel Auckland Viaduct. Is close handy to many wonderful restaurants and bars - just within walking distance. Service also is excellent, friendly and efficient!

Room Tip: Rooms on city side are definitely quieter but do enjoy the Viaduct facing rooms - great view!!

I stayed at the Sebel for 3 nights on a business trip to Auckland. The location is perfect with views of the Viaduct if you have a water side room. The room was well set out with pretty good use of space inside plus a small balcony. The kitchen equipment is poor to really bad - not much and what there is in poor condition. That is no problem if you don't want to cook anything - and why would you with perfect access to the Viaduct restaurants through the hotel's back door. There is no in house restaurant which seems rather odd. Breakfast is in a restaurant that is next door but separately owned. It doesn't open until 7AM which is far too late for a business day. There is parking available though not cheap at $26/day. Internet access is also expensive which seems to be a general problem with NZ hotels. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Overall it was reasonable value for money and so well situated that much is forgiven. I will be staying there again in the future but will need to find an alternative breakfast spot that opens a bit earlier.

I've just had a great time in Auckland, staying at the Sebel. It was very conveniently located to everything that I wanted to do, and to the airport bus. I'd booked a studio so I was expecting a fairly ordinary room, but this exceeded expectations. It had plenty of room to move around, two armchairs and a table with two chairs, a decent size bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. The main window faced a carpark across the road, but the smaller window faced the Sky Tower, so that was a bonus.

The service was excellent. I arrived early in the day and left my bag at reception. When I returned, it had already been taken up to my room. There was a problem with the television, and a staff member immediately came to sort that out. The staff there all seemed very courteous and efficient.

Some earlier reviews mention the noise. I did notice a little bit now and then, as it was a Saturday night, but it certainly wasn't loud or disturbing. I was on the 4th floor, so maybe that helped.

I'd definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: The studios are good value. A higher floor could be quieter.

I have stayed here for business and pleasure and I recommend this hotel for both. This hotel is right on the viaduct and has fantastic views. The suites are very clean, modern and spacious. In particular I like the rooms overlooking the water!

Room Tip: Get a suite overlooking the water! fantastic views
