“MOTAT Museum”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

Great place which gathers a lot of vintage machinery all together, from trams, airplanes, buses, vehicles and other interesting machinery. Interesting theme rooms, and always something different on display.

“Motat 2”
Reviewed April 11, 2014 via mobile

Motat 2 (Aviation site) is absolutely brilliant. The building is spectacular and the aircraft on display are excellent. From Kittyhawk fighter to a A4 Skyhawk it is brilliant. Absolute must see for anyone into NZs aviation history.

Loved the trams. The aviation hall was amazing and the museum engaged all of us including two teenage sons. Great museum.

“Great active and living transport museum and kiwiana...”
Reviewed April 3, 2014

Spend a day here, wet or fine, many options for picnic and exploring around the many things, best just do some at each time (visit). Too much for just one visit, or you will miss many things. Covers items from all around New Zealand, not just Auckland. Great fun.
