“Great for little boys”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

It is a bit strange and run down but if you have children who like trains, this is great. The best thing about Motat is it is not all stuffy, you can really touch things, climb on things and get involved. In the weekends the volunteers open up all sorts of displays and really allow visitors to engage. With small children they can run around without upsetting anyone, and mine love the old steam train. the model railway, the earthquake cafe and the maze. Then jump on the tram up to the aeroplane hanger.
