Don't miss the Sky Tower! Seniors pay $23 to go to the top. Really worth that. Beautiful city and countryside is visible. It was fun to watch people bungy jump and also simply walk around on the outside walkway. You can stay as long as you want and there are 2 levels from which to view scenery. Loved it!

FRom the top of the tower you will get amazing views over Auckland. You can also watch people zip lining from the observation deck - not for the faint hearted!!

I was a little sceptical at first when I looked at the cost but I admit it was worth every penny just for the views and with coffee we spent nearly two hours up there. The 360 views are outstanding and dramatic and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The harbour views especially across to the Coromandel. There are two different viewing platforms and a restaurant and cafe. Having now been up it should be a must do. You can jump off on a wire or walk round the top if you are feeling brave at a cost!
