We booked one of the older rooms. The room itself was down a narrow, dated hallway and up a flight of stairs. Soundproofing was poor and late at night there was a fair bit of noise from the speedway and the pub. The fitout was obviously in dire need of renovation; stained duvet, curtains falling down, and stained carpet. The room was very dark as well. That being said, the sheets were clean and reasonable quality, and the bed itself fairly comfortable.
I did catch a glimpse of one of their newly renovated rooms, and it looked far nicer (and $5 cheaper - but booked out) - although still reached via the narrow, stained hallways.
I wouldn't stay again - while cheap, I think there's better value to be found in the area.More
