.. legendary Auckland restaurant. Last visit, December 2007, was with two friends for a pre-Christmas celebration. This occasion was with a large group of wine experts and enthusiasts (I'm in the latter category). The special event menu was fantastic, but representative of the wonderful food that you could order off the menu. The seafood entree paired whitebait, tuna and asparagus - see photo. The main was roasted poussin with black rice and garlic stuffing. The dessert a special mini bread and butter pudding with strawberries and creme anglaise. Fantastic food, paired with some great wines that our group shared. Tony graced us with his presence - a true culinary legend. Won't be so long between trips next time.
